The year is 1925 and in a small seaside town, local businessman, Charlie Montgomery, has been found dead behind the Crippengate Hotel. The doctor was called and, from the smell of bitter almonds on the body, he concluded that the victim was poisoned with cyanide. Only four people were in the building at the time, other guests and staff being out for the day. These four are the police’s main suspects and they have each made statements. It is up to the audience to help the police discover the killer.
