Southwold Arts Festival ~ John Ward presents when Buffalo Bill came to Lowestoft – an evening of story and song

Acclaimed songwriter and folk performer, John Ward, brings to the Festival his latest show, Congress, about Buffalo Bill’s visit with his wild west show to the UK in 1903 and marks the 120th anniversary of Bill’s visit to Lowestoft. John will be joined by his top-notch band of musicians and enthralling narrator, Andy Jennings, to tell the story of two families, whose lives touch briefly on the soil of Walmer Road Recreation Ground in Lowestoft 120 years ago.
